The Circle
Cassandra Centre’s Free Girls’ Group in South London for Young People Aged 13 to 19
A safe space for girls to be themselves.
The Circle is a safe, supportive space to make friends, grow in confidence and talk openly about the things that matter, from friendships and relationships to self-esteem, boundaries and respect.
What to Expect at The Circle
Small Groups
We meet every fortnight in small groups of around twelve, so everyone has the chance to be heard.
Guided Discussion and Activities
Sessions mix guided discussion and peer sharing with creative activities and yoga.
Explore Key Topics
Together we explore what healthy relationships look like, how to set boundaries and communicate what you need, and where to turn if something doesn’t feel right.
Qualified Support
Every session is led by qualified, DBS-checked youth workers who take a trauma-informed approach, and we’re sometimes joined by specialist guest facilitators.
A Safe and Confidential Space
What’s shared in the group is treated with respect and kept private, and if anyone is ever at risk, we’ll make sure they get the right support.
Preventing Abuse, Building Brighter Futures
We believe early education is one of the best ways to prevent abuse before it begins. By helping girls understand their worth, recognise healthy relationships and speak up for themselves, The Circle supports their wellbeing now and builds confidence that stays with them in their relationships and communities for years to come.
Everyone is Welcome
Every girl is welcome, including those with additional needs.
Girls can sign up by themselves using thecircle@cassandracentre.org.uk, and parents, carers, schools and professionals are also welcome to refer.
