This event is being hosted by the founder and CEO of CLC, Jennifer McDermott, and held in commemoration of her daughter, Cassandra McDermott (19 year old fatality victim of Domestic Violence – whose high-profile case was the first to get a conviction under the UK ‘Double Jeopardy’ laws).

It is, also, being held in recognition of the exceptional efforts and achievements of our volunteers and supporters over the preceding decade, and the re-launch of our services as we look forward to the next ten years. To this end, we are also launching our ‘Give us 10’ fundraising appeal.

Keynote speaker for the evening will be one of our Patrons, Nazir Afzal OBE, one of a number of distinguished guests invited to the event as well as the police officers who worked on Cassandra’s case.
