On the last Friday of the month at Cassandra Centre in Norbury, London SW16 there’s an Open Ladies Discussion Group called, “Break the Silence” where young women aged 18 plus, and older women too, meet up to discuss and share their experiences around Domestic Violence and Abuse.  The group was set up in July 2019 by a very brave young mum to help other young mums like herself, talk about the fate that they’ve suffered.  She is beginning to turn her life around for herself and her children, and she’s calling on other women to join the group so they can get some help to turn their lives around too.

The words on the flyer are a reminder to her of what she’s experienced and these words are generally used by partners or husbands to beat down and humiliate women.  Please contact Cassandra Centre if you would like to join in the discussion on the last Friday of the month from 5 to 7 pm, and together we can “Break the Silence.”
